About Us:
My Client is a well-established and compassionate care provider, offering a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for their residents. Their home is dedicated to providing exceptional care to 50 residents, promoting independence and dignity, and improving quality of life. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of outstanding care.
The Role:
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and day-to-day operations of the home. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, compliance with CQC regulations, and managing a team of dedicated staff. You will work closely with the senior management team to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the facility, all while fostering a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the nursing home to ensure the delivery of high-quality care for our residents.
2. Oversee all aspects of the home's operation, including staffing, budgets, and resource management.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
4. Provide leadership, motivation, and development opportunities for the care team.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
6. Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of residents.
7. Promote a person-centered approach to care, ensuring residents' dignity and well-being are always prioritized.
8. Ensure the home's financial performance meets targets and objectives.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care setting.
2. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin number (preferred but not essential).
3. Extensive knowledge of CQC standards and healthcare regulations.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
6. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
7. A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and improving the lives of older adults.
