Wehave an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineering Team Leader to join our team atFloretteinLichfield (WS13 8NF). You'll report into and assist the Maintenance Manager in managing a team of Maintenance Engineers. You will also carry out engineering duties alongside your team, ensuring routine servicing and conducting repairs across the site is performed at a high quality. The successful candidate will be electrically biased or strongly multi-skilled across both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. This role is perfect for a current Maintenance Engineer with proven team-leading and managing skills that is wanting to move into a formal Team Leader position. You will have a good knowledge of both preventative and reactive maintenance, ideally within a food manufacturing environment. Pay: £56,000 per annum Working hours:Panama Shift - 12 hour shifts | Rotating days & nights | 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am. Main Responsibilities Motivate and lead a team of engineers and contractors whilst encouraging EPIC behaviours (Excellence, Positivity, Innovation and Co-operation) Day to day upkeep of Production Equipment. Site-wide Preventative Maintenance. Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime. Equipment repair, technical repairing, in addition to factory start up and testing. Ensure implementation of hygiene and safety regulations, the wearing of protective clothing and the correct use and maintenance of hardware available whilst following general compliance with internal regulations and labour legislation. SkillsandExperience Required A proven experienced leader with good people skills is essential. Technical Hands-On-Engineering Experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment, and happy to lead a shift of engineers whilst remaining on the tools. A Multi-Skilled Engineer with strong knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, desirably with experience of working with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and PC/Inverter Assets. Relevant technical qualifications in either mechanical or electrical fields at a minimum NVQ Level 3, ideally through a recognised time served apprenticeship. Experience and knowledge of Planned Maintenance and PPM development, with an eye for continuous process improvement. Specific experience of prioritising resources in a busy environment.
