The Role

Reporting to the Head of Change Delivery, you’ll deliver business change and IT projects that contribute to the strategic initiatives of the business. You’ll manage projects from planning to execution, delivering within time and budgetary allocation, using your ability to see the holistic perspective whilst also being able to dive into the detail to support progress. You’ll manage and communicate to key stakeholders and ensure engagement across teams for successful delivery and effective change management.
Your Responsibilities
1. Lead and support projects from business case and projection initiation and requirements gathering, creating and maintaining project plans, ensuring activities are planned, owned and actioned and drive overall execution, quickly identifying and correcting any deviation.
2. Proactively identify and raise ideas and opportunities for new value adding projects.
3. Communicate with other project managers to manage cross-workstream dependencies. You’ll manage and maintain project RAID registers, owning and supporting mitigating actions.
4. Manage changes to key project parameters ensuring that the right decisions are made and communicating to all parties.
5. Create and maintain detailed project budgets and track spend against these budgets, along with realistic financial forecasts.
6. Responsible for stakeholder management including communications, facilitation and support to project sponsors and business and technology teams.
7. Support resource management of projects and procure resource required, leading people to perform in cross-disciplinary project teams.

To be successful as our Project Manager you will hold a project management qualification and have experience in IT or Business Change Project Management.
* Experience in waterfall, agile and iterative methodologies covering full life cycle.
* Experience of optimising processes and outcomes working with outsourced or off-shore technology delivery teams.
* Experience of managing IT Partner and supplier services.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of MS Project (Scheduling) and Office tools.
* Personal qualities including interpersonal skills in group and one-to-one settings, presentation skills at all levels of business and the ability to lead and motivate project teams.
