Overview
Seven Hills Rhode Island is hiring! We have a full-time Recruiter position available with a start salary of $60,000.00.
The high volume recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting, including researching, interviewing candidates, managing hiring manager relationships, negotiating, and will see the applicants through, even after they are hired. Work is performed with a high degree of independence. This position serves Seven Hills’ operating affiliates.
Responsibilities
1. Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
2. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites.
3. Creatively identifies recruitment strategies based on job specifications utilizing multiple resources.
4. Coordinates participation in external and internal career job fairs, sets up displays, and works at the fairs.
5. Maintains accurate recruiting data using the applicant tracking system.
6. Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
7. Reviews applications and screens applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
8. Screens and interviews applicants in collaboration with hiring managers, as necessary.
9. Reviews all applicant tracking forms to assess alternative job matches and source qualified candidates.
10. Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges, universities, community placement offices, and other public organizations to generate qualified applicants.
11. Works collaboratively with other recruiters to share and implement successful recruitment strategies.
12. Documents recruiting metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of two years of related experience. Proven oral and written communication skills are required. Skills required include fluency in Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, and web-based applications. A valid Driver’s License is required, along with access to a vehicle for extensive travel.
