Hours: Days, 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 06:45 - 19:00)
Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon provides residential and specialist dementia care in luxurious & beautiful surroundings. The amazing staff led by Susan the Manager provide a safe, supportive & sociable environment for the residents to live in.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
* Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
* Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
* Supporting residents at meal times
* Mentoring & assisting new employees
* Implementing, monitoring and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
* Planning, allocating & supervising the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU
We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us in creating the best person-centred environment for our residents. You’ll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.
* Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team
* Have a friendly & caring attitude
* Experience of administering medication
* Able to engage well with the residents and their families
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this
* Great communication skills, both written & verbal
