💰 Rate: Up to £42 per hour

Are you a passionate leader looking to make a real difference in children's services? A local authority in the North West is seeking an Assistant Team Manager to play a key role in delivering Early Help and Prevention services. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team, shape intervention strategies, and work collaboratively to improve outcomes for vulnerable families.
The Role:
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will:
✔ Lead and develop a team of professionals, ensuring best practices in early intervention and family support.
✔ Make a direct impact by overseeing tailored intervention plans that help families achieve long-term stability and resilience.
✔ Work collaboratively with schools, health services, and community organisations to coordinate effective multi-agency support.
✔ Ensure high-quality service delivery through supervision, mentoring, and performance management.
✔ Monitor and evaluate interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes for families and children.
About You:
🔹 Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with a relevant degree and Social Work England registration.
🔹 A minimum of two years' experience in social care, particularly within early help and prevention services.
🔹 Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising practitioners.
🔹 Excellent knowledge of social care legislation and safeguarding frameworks.
🔹 A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach to supporting children and families.
