Job Description
The Investor Relations (IR) team is responsible for communicating the ASOS investment case to the market. We focus on developing and maintaining a strong relationship between the company and capital markets, including investors and research analysts. IR sits at the intersection of finance, comms and strategy, collaborating extensively across the broader organisation and working closely with the CEO and CFO.
Reporting into the Head of Strategy and Investor Relations, this is a unique opportunity to see and understand ASOS through a different lens. With great exposure to the most senior decision-makers in the business, the successful candidate will develop a holistic understanding of the how the business operates and how external stakeholders perceive us. This is a challenging role in a fast-paced area, and we're looking for an adaptable all-rounder who is comfortable working with numbers and keen to learn and develop.
The Details
* Preparation of earnings reports and associated materials including market announcements and presentations as well as supporting the preparation of the Annual Report.
* Development of content to support the communication of the ASOS investment case, including the IR website and other materials for external use.
* Supporting our programme of investor engagement, including organising results announcements, roadshows and preparation for investor conferences.
* Collecting and maintaining a view of the market's expectations of ASOS' future performance (known as 'consensus') based on research analysts' models.
* Conducting competitive and strategic analysis on ASOS, its peers, and the industry to help better understand market and investor views of the company.
* Working closely with both a range of internal stakeholders across the business as well as external advisers, including our brokers and communications agency.
* Monitoring the 'Investor Enquiries' mailbox and responding to questions from current and prospective investors.
* Supporting ad hoc projects.
* Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Qualifications
Investor relations roles require a broad skillset encompassing both numerical / analytical competencies and an ability to tell a story through written communications and presentations. With this in mind, we'd love you to be able to demonstrate you have experience working with numerical or financial data, or to have a recognised finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA).
About You
We're looking for someone who can build a great stakeholder network within the ASOS business and an ability to build relationships with ASOSers working in all functions and at all levels. You'll need a flexible, can-do approach and an ability to plan and manage multiple projects / deadlines simultaneously.
A genuine interest in both the running of the business and the capital markets would also be a major plus. You'll also need to have a good understanding of how confidential information should be handled and protected.
