Bright Kids was established in 1999 and has been delivering high-quality childcare. We are seeking an experienced nursery manager on a permanent, full-time basis for our setting in Crabbs Cross, Redditch, Worcestershire.

Please note that this position is full-time on a rotating shift pattern between 7.30 am - 6.00 pm.

Responsible to: Operations Director
Overall Purpose of the Job:
1. To effectively manage the day-to-day and financial operations of the nursery and out of school clubs.
2. To oversee the operations of the setting to a high standard of care and education for children in line with the Ethos, Core values, policies, and procedures for Bright Kids.
3. To lead, manage, and develop a staff team.
4. To provide a clean and well-maintained environment conducive to the Curiosity Approach and health and safety standards.
5. To ensure the curriculum is promoted and delivered throughout the setting.
6. To be part of the wider management team of the company.
Qualities and Experience:
We are looking for a person who is qualified to a minimum of level 3 in childcare with at least three years' post-qualification experience within a Nursery setting. Higher qualifications would be an advantage. A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of running a Nursery must be shown. The ability to use computerised systems is essential. Previous management experience is preferred, but at least two years' supervisory experience is required. You will need to be flexible and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
