Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Salford Pay Rate : £95 per day A primary school in Salford is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). This role focuses on providing individualized and small-group support to help young learners reach their full potential, with particular attention to those who have additional needs. Responsibilities: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons to promote positive learning experiences Provide 1:1 and small group support, focusing on students who need extra assistance with core subjects Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs, ensuring all students can participate fully Encourage positive behaviour and help manage classroom dynamics effectively Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and SEND staff to monitor and support student progress Requirements: Previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting Knowledge of the primary curriculum and ability to support learning across subjects Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping young learners succeed, including those with SEND Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with teaching staff and families Opogo benefits: Opogo Education is the alternative to supply teaching agencies.
