Team: Adult Learning
About the role
Bury Adult Learning Service is one of the key providers of adult and community learning in the borough of Bury. We were rated as Good by Ofsted in November 2021, who noted that we “put the learner and the community at the heart of everything (we) do.”
We are looking for innovative and inspirational tutors to join our teaching team with the following specialisms:
* English
* ESOL
* ICT and Digital Skills
Please state in your application which specialism applies to you, and we would welcome applications from individuals with the ability to teach in more than one specialism (including others not listed above).
You’ll need:
* A relevant qualification in the subject specialism.
* A recognised teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 4.
* Good organisational skills to ensure effective planning, preparation and delivery of excellent teaching, and to maintain accurate learner records.
* The flexibility to work a range of working patterns.
Hours of work are flexible and can be negotiated at interview stage. The hours for this position will be reviewed annually in line with service requirements.
