Job summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join our team at Priority House, Maidstone. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming and professional service. This role combines traditional reception duties with essential site-specific responsibilities, including mail handling. Working Hours: Monday and Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Answering and directing incoming calls, ensuring accurate routing and maintaining an up-to-date telephone directory. Providing a professional and courteous welcome to visitors, ensuring they are signed in and directed appropriately. Proactively identifying and reporting any issues or concerns that arise. Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including franking outgoing mail and sorting incoming mail for distribution. Providing general administrative support as required. Main duties of the job To provide a courteous reception service to all visitors/staff and patients in order to maintain the professional image of the Unit. Ensure smooth running of office equipment (photocopier, fax, shredder) and organizes a call out if unable to solve problem.
