A progressive Independent School in Barnet is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The ideal Art Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their artistic skills and appreciation. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students for GCSE Art and Design examinations. Develop students' artistic skills, techniques, and understanding of different art forms. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback as an Art Teacher. Contribute to the development of the art curriculum and extracurricular activities. Foster a culture of creativity and artistic expression within the school. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design. Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong and comprehensive knowledge of various art mediums and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Art.
