Car Parks Support Assistant - East Midlands Airport
Salary: £26,280 per annum
Type: Full Time - Permanent
Hours: 42 hours - Days and Nights (0700-1900/1900-0700)

The Role
As our business is growing and our passenger numbers are increasing, we are looking for new members to join our Landside Operations team at East Midlands Airport. We are looking for standout talent to support us in our promise to deliver ‘effortless travel’ to our customers. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, a willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and a passion for working with vehicles. The ideal candidate will support our operation with 170,000 movements of vehicles and manage 15,000 car parking spaces.
Responsibilities:
* The movement and parking of a range of vehicles, from a Fiesta to a Ferrari!
* Be the voice of our landside operation, speaking to passengers at car park barriers and sharing your expert knowledge of the Airport.
* You will be the smiling face of our meet and greet office.
* Operate our car parks booking systems and specialised equipment.
* Work in all weather conditions to deliver an effortless travel experience.
What Will Make You Successful in the Role?
You should be a careful and experienced driver who has held a manual UK Driving License for at least 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points. Additionally:
* Enjoy working with a wide variety of people, have strong customer service skills, and a desire to help deliver exceptional service to our customers.
* Basic computer skills are required for this role.
* Be prepared to work flexibly and effectively outside, as we’re a 24-hour operation!
* Have a passion for working with cars – understanding the importance of looking after our customers' vehicles and being comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
