We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components and parts. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes.
* Monday to Friday
* 12.00 - 16.00ph (dependent on experience)
* Immediate Start
Responsibilities:
* Set up CNC machines including loading raw materials, tooling, and fixtures.
* Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
* Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each machining operation.
* Operate CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
* Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and productivity.
* Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements.
* Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
* Familiarity with software such as Adobe Illustrator and SolidWorks.
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience with machining materials such as metals, plastics, or composites preferred.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining processes.
