Job Description:

Responsibilities:
* Lead a team and act as a key worker for a group of children, observing, recording, and assessing their progress through observations supported by photographs.
* Develop meaningful interactions with children to enhance their thinking and learning.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver diverse play experiences that support physical, intellectual, and emotional development.
* Ensure activities align with children's next steps, observations, and interests within the EYFS framework.
* Support children in building self-esteem, confidence, and competence.
* Model positive behavior, treating children, families, and colleagues with friendliness, care, and courtesy.
* Maintain current knowledge of relevant issues, legislation, and practices through ongoing training and workshops.
* Adhere to hygiene standards in line with Caring Kindergartens policies.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Level 3 childcare qualification recognized by the Department for Education.
* Good understanding of the EYFS.
* Excellent spoken and written English skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices.
* Previous experience in an early years setting.
* Clear DBS check.
* Ability to extend children’s learning through high-quality experiences.
* Capability to manage a group of key children.
* Strong communication skills with adults and children.
* Commitment to reflective practice and self-development.
