Your New Role
As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to young learners, apprentices, and corporate clients. Your duties will include:
* Teaching and mentoring individuals in practical welding skills.
* Developing and preparing appropriate schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Planning, preparing, and conducting assessments of competence against awarding body standards.
* Ensuring all relevant training and assessment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Providing advice, guidance, and support to corporate clients.
* Ensuring immediate reporting of accidents and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Level 3 Engineering Qualification
* Extensive welding experience gained in industry
* Level 2 literacy and numeracy
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (highly desirable)
* NVQ/QCF Assessor qualification or teaching qualification (desirable)
