KEY PURPOSE To act as the school’s primary First Aid Officer and be responsible for the Medical Room and medical records, including parental consents, care plans and risk assessments. To support students with pastoral needs and deal with issues as directed by HOH To assist the Assistant Head (Pastoral) in providing support for students, parents and teachers in order to raise standards involving monitoring and intervention To support 20-30 disadvantaged students in order improve their academic performance behaviour and attendance To deal effectively with parental complaints, monitor and deal with any issues identified as part of the complaints and recommend ways to improve the Academy’s procedures to support improvements To be a role model in terms of behaviour and create a high awareness of the role within school Further details regarding this post can be found in the Job Description & Person Specification via our website.
