We are seeking an inspiring and strategic Head of Transformation and Change to drive a comprehensive transformation portfolio. You’ll play a pivotal role in modernising and enhancing operational efficiency, service offerings, and strategic capabilities, contributing directly to our ambition of delivering an exceptional experience for our stakeholders.
About the Role:
As Head of Transformation and Change, you will:
* Provide strategic leadership to the Transformation and Change Office.
* Lead a diverse team in the planning, execution, and delivery of key transformation programmes.
* Collaborate with senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.
* Establish and maintain governance structures to monitor progress, manage risks, and drive accountability.
* Develop and implement a robust change management strategy, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-impact programmes on scope, time, cost, and quality.
* Build effective relationships to secure buy-in for transformation initiatives.
* Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership and governance boards.
* Proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
* Foster a collaborative team environment, nurturing professional growth and development.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
* Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Project Management) or equivalent experience.
* Professional project management qualification (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, PMP).
* Skills & Experience:
* Significant experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, ideally within the public sector or education.
* Strong expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and driving cultural change.
* Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and integrating technology within complex organisations.
* Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams, delivering successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.
