Multiskilled Engineer 50/50 to with an electrical bias who will be reporting to the Engineering Manager, will involve the continuation of Planned Preventative Maintenance ensuring the mill is maintained to a level which minimises production downtime and maximises plant longevity & efficiency.
Responsibilities:
To be able to work as a team or alone on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work, responding to equipment faults and failures.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical breakdown problems.
Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
Adhering to and improving health and safety policies and procedures.
Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various test equipment.
Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
Qualifications
17th or 18 edition
Time served electrical engineer with mechanical knowledge
IPAF
2391 test and inspection (desirable)
