Working Hours
1. Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
2. Availability for On-call Duties
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct general visual site inspections across plant rooms and communal spaces.
2. Perform painting and decorating tasks.
3. Carry out tiling and carpentry work.
4. Handle basic plumbing tasks.
5. Manage drainage and flushing systems.
6. Change light bulbs and test emergency lights.
7. Test fire alarms and doors.
8. Perform grouting and plastering.
9. Undertake minor electrical works.
10. Repair building fixtures, including doors, handles, and windows.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
1. City & Guilds 18th Edition Certification
2. Proven experience in a comparable Building Service Role
3. Proficiency in planned preventative maintenance procedures
4. Ability to troubleshoot single and three-phase control and distribution circuits
5. Familiarity with lighting, motor, UPS systems, emergency generation, and HVAC plant equipment
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
1. City & Guilds/BTEC in Electrical Engineering
2. Familiarity with Computacenter head office systems
3. Certification in using access equipment
4. Specialized training in relevant areas
5. Health and safety qualifications
