The Governors of Aberdare Community School are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils within our specialist provision which has learners on a bespoke learning activity program. The main responsibility will be to provide support for pupils within this specialist provision to ensure maximum access to the curriculum and learning activities so that these learners achieve the very best life chances when they leave school at the end of Year 11.
Ideally, you will
· Be skilled at building excellent relationships with pupils, parents and staff
· Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective
· Have experience of working with children with a range of experience and needs
· Have experience of working with other professionals and external agencies
· Have good literacy, numeracy, and I.C.T skills
