We are seeking an experienced SEND Tribunal Manager to lead our SEND Tribunal process. Key Responsibilities: Tribunal Management: Lead the Local Authority’s response to SEND Tribunal appeals and develop action plans. Mediation and Resolution: Facilitate mediation sessions to resolve disputes early. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with parents, schools, and legal services. Case Supervision: Manage a team, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Training and Support: Provide training on tribunal processes and best practices. Data Management: Maintain records and produce reports. Requirements: Qualifications: Law degree or equivalent experience; managerial qualification or experience. Experience: Similar role within a Local Authority or educational/legal environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, excellent communication, and organisational skills. Other: Commitment to equality, diversity, and health and safety. Essential car user post.
