Overview
As an established automotive parts provider, Aston Martin Bits is seeking an experienced mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. This is a part-time position requiring three days of work per week, with the potential to transition to full-time for applicants who are open to taking on additional site maintenance responsibilities.
Responsibilities
1. Perform routine vehicle maintenance
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
3. Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
4. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs conducted
5. Repair parts
Requirements
1. Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
2. Ability to work with a wide range of vehicle types
3. Good problem-solving skills
4. Experience in engine and gearbox rebuilding is an advantage
5. Ability to work independently and under little supervision
Nice-to-have
1. Formal qualification in vehicle mechanics
