We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
Sentrol, Inc., a Plymouth, MA based distributor of fluid sensor and control instrumentation for high tech industries is looking for an energetic, outgoing, organized and detail-oriented person to join the company as a Sales Engineer to be based out of the main office in Plymouth, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Present and sell company technical products and services to new and existing customers.
* Prospect and contact potential customers.
* Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
* Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
* Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
* Create sales material to present to customers.
Qualifications:
* 4 to 5 years technical sales experience.
* BA or BS degree required. BS in Engineering preferred.
* Knowledge of control valves, flowmeters, control systems, moisture sensors, and fire protection or explosion protection systems would be helpful.
* Good communication skills are required.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms.
* Ability to build rapport with clients.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Deadline and detail-oriented.
Position is full-time with salary, commission, benefits and 401(k) plan. The position requires some travel to customer sites in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
