Role: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Newcastle Hours: Full Time 5 days a week Pay Rate: £96 to £100 per day Do you want to make a difference in young childrens lives? Empowering Learning are working with primary schools in the Newcastle area and looking for passionate, caring,resilient Teaching Assistants to support their schools. There has been a high demand for general classroom support and 1:1 SEN support so experience in these areas is vital in order to give the best learning experience to the children in your care. Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students. Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials. Requirements: Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1,2 or 3). Experience in working within a Primary School setting. Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Caring and compassionate approach towards students. Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
