The Aubrey Williams Renal Unit at West Cornwall Hospital is a 9 station satellite unit of the main/acute dialysis unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital Truro. We are a highly skilled dynamic team who are both passionate and dedicated to deliver the highest standards of holistic individualised patient care.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team. Haemodialysis skills are preferable but not essential as full training and support will be given. Linked to the delivery of exemplary patient care we are committed to your personal professional development. The successful candidate will have access to a dedicated team of mentors, with training supported by the undertaking of a renal competency training pathway.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to maintain haemodialysis skills in order to support the renal unit. The post holder will need to work flexibly as part of the renal team. Willing to undertake a supported training programme if not experienced in Haemodialysis.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration.
* The ability to travel independently for patient visits and training and have unrestricted access to a motor vehicle insured for business purposes
* University qualification in specialty
Experience
* Relevant nursing experience within specialty
* Audit/research experience
* Has an understanding of both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis
* Good standard of written and spoken English
* Teaching and education experience
* Working in a multidisciplinary team
