Job Title: Launch Leader
Location: Port Sunlight Factories
JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant will work within a PSL making facility and be responsible for managing all change programs that are initiated within their area. The candidate will be a core part of the making operational team ensuring close links with project delivery teams, R&D, P&I and Procurement. The person will be responsible for ensuring all change programs are delivered robustly following a change management process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be the key contact to all external stakeholders (often R&D and P&I teams) for new change requests including MPT's, formulation changes and new projects.
2. Ensure all factory requirements are built into project scopes and work processes.
3. Manage end to end any main plant trials through the factory operational and planning teams.
4. Ensure all EEM activities are being completed for a project with direct responsibility on operational tasks and validation (such as AM & PM generation).
5. Ensure all training for any new equipment or processes is in place and delivered.
6. Ensure all new materials are robustly evaluated from a process safety and operational safety perspective.
7. Ensure all systems are designed with the correct hygienic standards for the equipment/material.
8. Ensure changes are tracked and communicated through a robust governance process including weekly innovation meetings.
9. Lead the daily meetings during commissioning and ramp up between projects and operational teams.
10. Lead project post-mortem and any project related RCA's.
11. Ensure all relevant project documentation is provided to the operational team at the handover stage.
12. Ensure all changes are validated effectively with clear performance criteria defined and tracked to closure.
