THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Providing technical support on robots including offline simulations, practical demonstrations of technology and site programming to fulfil both customer and internal requirements.
2. Develop, deliver and maintain technical training for customer and the internal workforce.
3. Support and drive all activities relating to the delivery of the industrial robotics WorldSkills competition. This will include cycle planning, competition task development, production of relevant documentation and competitor training.
4. Professionally support products during shows and exhibitions (i.e. Open Houses, MACH) giving all the needed support during the preparation and execution of events.
5. You will report to the Head of Technical for overall performance and at times will be required to travel within the UK and abroad.
6. Any other related duties as required by the Head of Technical.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Formal qualifications and experience in electro-mechanical engineering.
2. Experience in the delivery of technical training.
3. Experience with programming robots within industry.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, workplace safety and employee/contractor supervision.
5. Good problem analysis, resolution and documentation skills.
6. Be honest, flexible and trustworthy with a high-quality work ethic.
7. Be punctual and respectful.
SALARY
They're looking to pay between £45 - 47k as a basic salary. It also comes with a company car, bonus and overtime. It's a great total package!
TRAVEL / LOCATION
This is mainly an office-based role but there are some elements of travel.
