This well-known Wealth Management organisation is expanding its Private Client legal team and is looking to speak to experienced Private Client Solicitors (4 years PQE +).
In this role you will provide expert legal advice and guidance on a broad range of private client matters which will include wills, POAs, estate administration and trust work.
You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored legal solutions that meet the unique needs of high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on all aspects of private client law
2. Offer strategic legal guidance to high-net-worth clients to optimise their financial and overall wealth planning.
3. Collaborate with external legal counsel, financial advisors, and tax specialists to ensure cohesive and comprehensive advice for clients.
4. Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation and law, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies as necessary.
5. Manage relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
6. Work with the internal team to develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified solicitor with strong Scottish private client law experience
2. A minimum of 4 years PQE+
3. Extensive knowledge of wills, POA, trusts, estate planning, and estate administration.
4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
8. Experience managing complex and sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
