You will lead a small housekeeping team, manage schedules, and maintain inventory, ensuring a smooth and efficient turnover between stays. You will also work closely with the wider housekeeping team to oversee the laundering of all bed linen, towels, restaurant linen, gowns, and staff uniforms, as well as reporting all maintenance faults to ensure the properties remain in excellent condition. Weekends are changeover days for this aspect of our business. Role & Responsibilities: Overseeing the housekeeping team for our self-catering properties Managing cleaning schedules to ensure timely and high-standard turnovers Conducting quality checks and maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards Liaising with maintenance and front-of-house teams to address guest needs Managing stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen Assisting in recruitment, training, and supervision of housekeeping staff Collaborating with the wider housekeeping team to oversee laundering of bed linen, towels, restaurant linen, gowns, and staff uniforms Reporting all maintenance faults to ensure prompt repairs and upkeep Assume the role of Duty manager whilst on shift when required. Observing and complying with cleaning rotas, health and safety regulations, and understanding your responsibilities in relation to: Fire procedures Health and safety COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Infection control Emergency first aid All other duties as required
