This role delivers the overall software/network or other technical solution for a given business problem using enterprise standards. Principle Responsibilities Works with the business on future product direction and technology capability through relevant engagement processes Responsible for the sign off of requirements with the Business Analyst Carries out requirements management and scope assessments based on technical and budget constraints (will work closely with the Engagement leads) Inputs into architectural discussions and the resulting Architectural artefacts for a given solution Input into the estimation process during the Concept and Feasibility stages of projects Identifying the scope and scale of the change needed to satisfy the project requirements Produces and owns the E2E Solution Design Document which will be the reference for the technical implementation Ensure any detailed platform solution designs are produced and aligned with the E2E Solution Design Document Responsible for alignment of Technical Solution with project requirements including definition of project phasing and work package breakdown Responsible for briefing the solution design to the development leads and relevant architecture and design forums Gathers input from Business Analysts and other relevant parties (eg. User Experience) to coordinate and produce Functional Specification document as a follow-on from the Solution Design to a level of detail required for implementation Supervise and review the deliverables produced by the development teams for their projects Verify the technical specification produced by the development teams against the solution design Owns the project list of technical issues or queries and works closely with the delivery team to agree and communicate resolution Provides input to the delivery team on the scope of the solution to help with the construction of the delivery plan Gain mutual agreement on the design with the Development Leads and delivery managers Required Experience Good knowledge of software principles and design experience with relevant platform Experience of UML design principles Proven experience of working with technical teams. At all levels, from design through to development and implementation Able to coordinate design decisions for systems to be delivered by multiple suppliers, both internal and external Ability to lead design discussions with third party vendors Understanding of development methodology and software development Business Analyst The Business Systems Analyst (BSA), functions as a liaison between internal and external business partners to identify, analyze and document requirements to develop new features Principle Responsibilities Candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, as well as logical, and analytical skills, which can be applied across multiple applications. Responsible for creating functional requirements, technical requirements, implementation details, unit test conditions using templates provided by SDLC process. Develop scope of work to satisfy business goals and requirements Translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications Participate in software development groups and teams in requirements gathering, analysis, design, risk mitigation, programming/construction, unit testing and transition of applications into a production environment. Candidate must be familiar with general programming and system analysis concepts. Conduct regularly scheduled reviews of newly proposed and existing features to ensure quality and accuracy of the projects or features delivered to the end-users. Provide detailed review and documentation of costs for proposed solutions Candidate will be responsible for executing unit test conditions and will be performing basic regression testing of application in controlled environment to ensure better quality of software is delivered to Software Test team and eventually to production. Work with system developers, technical analysts, testing teams, project managers and end users to assist in development, validation, and delivery of all aspects of the solution according to schedule and with the required functionality Analyze/document new and existing processes and procedures Coordinate the software releases with configuration management and release management teams under direction of manager.
