We are eager to recruit a Consultant Practitioner Psychologist or Consultant Psychological Therapist passionate about working with service users and MDT staff in our inpatient services, sited at Lynfield Mount and Airedale General Hospitals. The post holder will clinically lead and manage the psychological staff working into our inpatient wards and work with the inpatient leadership team to support people to get their needs met and develop their strengths in a proactive and effective manner, ensuring all work is underpinned by the principles of a trauma informed approach. Staff support & development through supervision, training, reflective practice & psychological debriefing/safe spaces are key components of the role.
The successful candidate will be experienced working with adults with complex mental health needs and familiar with working through a trauma informed lens to understand what has happened to people and ways to alleviate their distress. It will help if they've experience of working with people and teams in a range of settings, particularly inpatient environments.
