Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Support Worker to join our busy Outpatient Department. The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic, flexible and highly motivated person with a professional attitude. Candidates will need to have strong communication skills and to be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for individuals who are highly organised and ideally with previous experience of working in a clinical setting. An induction programme will be provided within the department. Main duties of the job Duties of this role will include, working under the direction of the Registered Nurses assisting medical practitioners with examinations and procedures, acting as a chaperone, undertaking clerical duties liaising with various departments and clinicians. The Surgical and Medical Outpatient areas deliver a wide range of services to patients across many specialities including; urology, breast, gynaecology, general surgery, vascular, ENT, respiratory, endocrine, and diabetes to name a few.
