About the role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation. This is a high profile and strategically important role, where you will have the responsibility to drive and accelerate the Liz Earle brand across a portfolio of important retailers. About the Opportunity Leading the John Lewis and e-retail business, you will work closely with experienced colleagues across the marketing, category, supply chain and finance functions to develop and execute plans to successfully deliver our commercial goals. Reporting into Head of Commercial you will: Key Responsibilities Develop the sales strategy and joint business plans, to successfully achieve Liz Earle’s and retailer’s commercial goals. Pro-actively manage the relationships between Liz Earle and the customers, delivering growth and unlocking opportunities. Full P&L management and accountability including sales revenue, trade spend, market share and profits targets. Build and develop effective relationships through an engaging contact strategy, utilising different functional teams to deliver a best-in-class partnerships. Provide all the required inputs for the Monthly Business Planning cycle. Pro-actively work with a range of cross functional stakeholders to deliver great results. Closely monitor industry and competitor activity, to ensure our retailer strategies are in line with market demands What you’ll need to have To be successful, you’ll already have a good breadth of sales experience under your belt as an Account Manager or a high-performance Junior NAM looking to set up. Experience of the Beauty sector is desirable, but not essential. You will be passionate about Beauty, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will have commercial capability and have experience of influencing across all levels. You will also: Have experience of working with cross functional stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies, to unlock sustainable and profitable growth. Demonstrate robust P&L management experience. Be an experienced negotiator, with experience to developing and running JBP’s Omni-channel experience, managing customers with varying formats and differentiated strategies. Demonstrate high levels of resilience, having managed demanding customers and stakeholders. Be curious Specifically, to develop a deep understanding of retailers, to develop long term and sustainable growth opportunities for Liz Earle Have a solid understanding of Supply Chain and demand planning principles.
