JOB SUMMARY:
The Customer Export Representative is responsible for the management of shipping and export processes for a global customer base within a dynamic sales and customer service environment. This role involves proactively addressing customer inquiries, ensuring efficient and effective export administration, and adhering to company standards and policies. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and continuously seek to develop innovative methods to enhance overall export efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Process global shipments and prepare export shipping documentation.
2. Book and coordinate with Freight Forwarders.
3. Ensure export compliance by tracking, checking, and storing export declarations and AWB's.
4. Liaise with customers and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve issues.
5. Respond to export and invoice queries promptly and accurately.
6. Provide backup support for team members, including order entry and order confirmations.
7. Manage contract reviews to ensure adherence to LAND’s terms, conditions, and DLA processes.
8. Enter and interpret data in internal databases, SAP ERP, and CRM tools.
9. Support international offices, representatives, and distributors.
10. Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service standards and profitability.
EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
11. 3-5 years-experience in Customer Service environment.
12. Previous experience of SAP Business Systems is desirable.
13. Familiarity with export procedures & documentation.
14. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
15. Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft products.
16. Good problem-solving skills, communication, influencing and assertiveness.
17. Outstanding customer service and relationship building.
