We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Garvagh, UK.
This role will involve delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead quantity surveying duties from project inception through to final account preparation
* Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and reporting on any commercial issues
* Assist with estimating, preparing detailed bids, and compiling tender documents
* Negotiate, draft, and review contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers for seamless project execution
* Conduct risk assessments to mitigate commercial and contractual risks
* Deliver monthly reports, including cost analysis, overhead monitoring, and Earned Value reports
* Ensure compliance with all industry standards, safety protocols, and internal policies
Requirements
* Experience: 2-3 years as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or engineering, with specific expertise in structural steel
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and BIM, plus a working knowledge of contracts such as NEC, JCT, and CECA
* Attributes: Analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills
* Competencies: Effective prioritization, critical thinking, and a collaborative spirit to foster teamwork
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed across the UK
