We are a vibrant new restaurant in the beautiful town Ely, Littleport. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Catering and Bar Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the catering and bar services.
Manage and train staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Develop and implement menus in collaboration with chefs and beverage suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
Monitor and manage budgets, stock levels, and financial performance.
Plan and execute events, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Address and resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all catering and bar areas.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of food and beverage management, including inventory control and cost management.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
Familiarity with licensing laws, health and safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Certifications in food safety and health & safety are advantageous.
