We are delighted to be working with our client, a professional services business based in Newcastle, who are looking for an HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.
Based in Newcastle City Centre you work as part of a wider HR team to provide support and advice to managers on a range of HR issues and provide guidance and support to employees in relation to benefits, recruitment and selection and employee relations.
This role will be supporting employees at various office locations and as such, there will be a requirement to travel to other offices within England and Scotland including the requirement to work out of the companies Edinburgh office at least one day every 3 weeks.
Key areas of the role:
1. To assist in guiding and managing the overall provision of HR services, policies and strategies
2. To assist and advise employees on HR issues
3. To develop and maintain strong communication channels and relationships with manager, colleagues, employees and external parties
4. Recruitment & on-boarding
5. Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics
6. Consulting on issues related to workplace relations, training and performance management
7. Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
