The Nursery Research and Planning is a highly respected agency specialising in brand strategy, communications, and customer experience. We carry out qualitative and quantitative research, and data analytics, across a huge range of sectors including FMCG, financial, automotive, leisure and healthcare.

Core skills/ what we’re looking for:
Interviewing and talking to people is central to what we do. It doesn’t necessarily mean “a people person”, but we are looking for smart, clear thinkers and nice people with an enthusiasm for what we do.
Here’s some attributes we’re seeking -
* An interest in people’s behaviour and comfort in interviewing situations
* An ability to talk to people in a way that is warm and approachable, yet also incisive and useful in gathering opinion
* Clear thinking to distil qualitative data
* The ability to structure and articulate an argument and create engaging and meaningful narratives
* An interest in brands and how they communicate including advertising
* Flexible approach to working with a need to be prepared to interview and work outside traditional office hours
Social Sciences (Sociology), Psychology, History or anyone undertaking qualitative research as a part of their studies tend to do well in commercial qualitative market research, but we are open to applicants from any discipline.
Working Life
For the first month, in the office 3 days a week. Travel support may be possible to enable this. Thereafter, should be available to work in our London office at least twice a week from 10 – 5. Would need to have Wi-Fi to be able to WFH.
