Senior HR Advisor This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join this builders merchant as part of our Watford based HR team. As the Senior HR Advisor, you will be a key member of our team, your primary focus will be providing support to internal managers in handling employee relations effectively. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in an ER-focused HR advisory role, ideally at a senior level. Strong understanding of employment law and best practice in employee relations. Experience in managing complex ER cases with confidence and professionalism. Demonstrated ability to work on HR projects, driving positive change in the business. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues. Support line managers in handling employee relations effectively and in line with company policies and employment law. Manage and resolve cases proactively, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes while mitigating risk. Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as policy development, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements. Support organisational change, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, coaching and upskilling managers in HR best practice. Keep up to date with employment legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice across the business
