Autowash - White Goods Delivery Driver
Autowash is a thriving white goods repair and sales business in Sittingbourne. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to provide fast, affordable domestic appliance repairs throughout Kent, and also supply new appliances and spares parts.
We are searching for a Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing a variety of appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, cooker and dishwashers across Kent and surrounding areas from our warehouse to our customers. You will also be involved with basic repairs and parts deliveries, the reconditioning of appliances, and other general workshop duties as required.
Experience within a similar role is desirable but we can provide full training for the right candidate who has a basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing and a willingness to learn. This is a very physically demanding job, as it will involve loading and unloading large and heavy appliances from the van and ensuring they are safely delivered into the customers homes. The van used for deliveries is a long wheel based van so confidence in driving this type of vehicle is essential.
Priding ourselves on providing a second to none customer experience within the customers' homes, it is essential to be an excellent communicator, confident, friendly and maintain a can do attitude at all times, approaching each and every job with a smile and enthusiasm - experience of working with customers will be advantageous for this.
Responsibilities:
Drive around the county to deliver and install new appliances.
Use of tablet to receive and update jobs.
Safe driving record required.
Be physically able to move and lift appliances.
Be willing to work within the offices and workshop on other minor duties when required.
