What you'll be doing
As a Section Engineer you will:
Carry out complex setting out using GPS equipment
Coach junior Engineers in the use of setting out techniques
and Quality
Maintain a comprehensive filing system of quality records
Identify and raises Technical Queries with possible solutions
Health Safety & Environmental
Produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Prepare and raise Temporary Works Brief
Produce a weekly programme and measures progress against KPI’s
Communicate a weekly programme and targets to the workforce
Commercial
Collate Weekly Measure information and monitors wastage against budget allowances / KPI’s.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
BSc/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Previous setting out experience using the latest GPS equipment
Previous experience of working on a Civil Engineering/Construction project
Strong QA/ITP experience
NEC forms of contract experience
