The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. They must be quick learners with the ability to think on their feet, possess strong negotiating skills, and showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.
Location: Thurles Technology Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Hours: The role is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week out of 6, Monday to Saturday, but may vary depending on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Promoting all GRI Stadiums Hospitality, Fundraising, Tote, Sponsorship, and non-Standard Events.
2. Identifying new business opportunities.
3. Collaborating with colleagues in the Sales & Reservations Department.
4. Keeping up to date and identifying the latest trends.
5. Maintaining a database and excellent customer relations with the aid of CRM software.
6. Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
7. Identifying prospects, setting weekly appointments, making effective qualifying sales outbound calls, and managing the sales cycle from proposal, lead generation, opportunities to closing stages.
8. Having product knowledge and being able to conduct presentations and handle objections.
9. Finding, engaging, and connecting with prospects through the use of digital channels.
10. Building relationships on digital platforms and turning online connections into offline sales conversations.
11. Achieving sales targets set by the line manager.
