Our Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (ROADS) are looking for a Team Leader to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. The Team Leader will directly link in to the Service Manager, ensuring clear communication and a mutually agreed delivery of service. As Team Leader, you will be responsible for collaboratively leading the criminal justice team to ensure a high level of performance by meeting targets and KPIs set, whilst creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our staff team. This post requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently, supporting staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing quality assurance and safeguarding and with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight timescales.
The salary for this position is £26,000 - £37,700 per annum.
Managing and developing your team to reach its full potential will be key to your success and will be your passion. You will motivate your team to deliver exceptional services to those we support and will have the ability to connect quickly with both staff and service users, treating them respectfully and with dignity. This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it’s important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively.
You and your team will be responsible for delivering against targets, always ensuring the service is complying with all of the necessary requirements that arise from working in a social care setting. There'll be data analysis and administration tasks to deal with too, but that's all part of this busy and varied job that you take in your stride.

Required Skills
To be sucessful in this role you will have:
1. ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent and evidence of further formal management study or the commitment to study over the coming 18 months
2. Relevant experience in a similar role (such as working in a Health & Social Care, Criminal Justice, Housing setting)
3. A successful track record of management responsibility and development of others
4. Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
5. Be results driven and possess analytical skills
Experience working with Criminal Justice in the drug and alcohol sector would be desirable.
