Location: Based in Harrogate, with home working and UK wide travel
Salary: up to £27,000 dependent on experience

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Bank Reconciliation
2. Council Tax Reconciliation
3. Deferred Income Reconciliation
4. Accounts Payable – Processing Invoices, Statement Checks & Preparing Payment Runs
5. Preparing Payroll Schedules ready for payment
6. Intercompany Recharges B2B
7. Chasing Rental Arrears via Email, Phone & Letter
8. Supplier Statement Reviews
9. Ensuring the accuracy of all charges and credits posted to individual accounts and verifying the accuracy of balances of Accounts
10. Taking a proactive role in managing Accounts Payable function
11. Involvement in month end processes including Accruals, Prepayments & Reporting
12. Dealing with difficult telephone calls and negotiation with clients
13. Producing reports for internal review
REQUIREMENTS AND THE ROLE
1. Organised with a positive and can-do working attitude
2. Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others
3. Strong confident telephone etiquette
4. Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
5. Previous Accounting Background with Xero Accounting Knowledge
6. Excel Wizard
7. Highly motivated and understands the importance of adhering to deadlines
8. Good experience of working with Microsoft Office
9. Excellent customer relations skills, a sense of humour and plenty of energy and enthusiasm
10. Proactive and able to use initiative to enhance the reputation of the building
11. Professional presentation, confident and outgoing in nature
12. Well organised, ability to problem solve and work under pressure with great decision-making skills
13. Previous handling of sensitive information and compliance with GDPR

1. Superb written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
2. Ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in peak periods
3. Understanding of a property’s PPM and compliance requirements
