I am currently supporting a Penzance based Nursery, who are seeking a Level 3 Qualified member of staff who ideally would undertake Room Lead and Key Person responsibilities. This role is available as either a full or Part Time (job share) opportunity, however a full time Nursery Assistant would be preferred.
Annual Salary £16,857.69
Term Time only – 39 wks worked + 5.6wks paid leave
Hours per week 32.5hrs – 8:45-15:15 with half hour paid lunch
There will be opportunity for overtime throughout the week as we have some children who start and finish outside of those hours – overtime is paid at time and equates to £11.63 p/hr at basic rate
In addition to basic salary there is the opportunity to take on additional roles
These roles carry an hourly uplift and are detailed in Additional Roles Policy
General responsibilities will include:
Running fun activities that help children learn and develop
Helping children feel settled
Keeping the nursery clean and safe
Supporting the long-term progress of children to set them up for school
Be familiar with the setting’s policies and procedures
Understand the roles of SENCo, Lead Persons and Key Persons
Seek support from the relevant members of staff when required
