Accounts Assistant
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to work with one of their well-established and successful clients in Berkshire.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Printing out incoming invoices, logging on accounts payable/Sage, issuing for sign off, and updating on Sage/accounts once payment is made.
2. Processing sales invoices and loading onto Sage.
3. Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors, and answering supplier queries.
4. Supporting the preparation of monthly management reports; printing end-of-month reports and distributing to the board.
5. Assisting Contract Managers in updating the CVR form for client projects.
6. Hard copy filing of invoices and statements.
7. Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
8. Daily bank reconciliation with Sage.
9. Supporting the weekly payment run process.
10. Checking expenses receipts and calculating VAT and totals.
11. Covering for Accounts Assistant when necessary.
12. Assisting with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department.
13. Being the point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during the annual audit.
14. Competence/experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is essential.
