Main duties of the job
1. Record accurately all admissions, transfers, and discharges on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in a timely fashion, to ensure patient flow and safety.
2. You will be required to use EPR to input, retrieve, and update patient records daily.
3. Deal with telephone enquiries and report any complaints/concerns/compliments to the Supervisors and Ward Manager.
4. Be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining patients' notes within the ward.
5. Arrange outpatient follow-up appointments by sending inpatient discharge summaries to the relevant department for patients using EPR, email, and/or post.
