TheRole:
As our Operations Assistantyoull play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of ourconstruction and servicerelated fieldwork. You will be responsiblefor overseeing operational processes and quality assuranceprotocols as well as communications with staff subcontractors andclients to ensure the efficient and productive running of thebusiness.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting with the preparation ofconstruction and engineering project work including orderingmaterials and parts coordinating statutory permissions for projectsand guaranteeing timely projectcompletion.
* Assisting in the creation ofcomprehensive construction phase plans and supporting the Health& Safety policy by preparing risk assessments and methodstatements.
* Compiling job completion paperworkincluding photographic records and building and electricalcompletion records.
* Maintaining an uptodateprice book sourcing jobspecific prices and monitoring and raisingpurchase orders.
* Contributing to accurateinventory management by ensuring correct stock levels across ouryard fleet and warehouse.
* Supporting theOperations Manager with coordination and administration to ensurethe smooth running of our project work.
ThePerson:
The ideal candidate willhave:
* Proven experience of working inan administrative or operational role within the construction orengineering industry or similar.
* Technicalprowess to handle various projectrelated tasks with precision andattention to detail.
* Strong written and verbalcommunication skills enabling effective collaboration with diversestakeholders.
* Exceptional organisationalskills allowing you to multitask and manage priorities efficiently.
* IT literacy including proficiency in the MSOffice suite and the ability to learn new systems with ease.
* A handson mindset with an unwaveringcommitment to getting the job done.
* Outstanding time management skills enablingyou to meet challenging deadlines whilst maintaining highqualitywork.
