Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Reports To: Shift Manager
Location: Chessington
Salary: £28,800 per annum
Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of 7-10 warehouse operatives, ensuring that warehouse functions are completed efficiently and accurately. Key responsibilities include:
Leadership:
* Direct the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with policies, safety rules, and government regulations.
* Coach, train, and manage the performance of warehouse operatives.
* Monitor staff attendance and address performance issues.
* Ensure all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed, reporting to the Warehouse Manager
Operational Efficiency:
* Oversee the accurate receipt and storage of goods in the warehouse.
* Resolve any short orders, damaged, or missing items in coordination with the Operations Manager and Stock Controller.
* Ensure safe and correct placement of stock in storage bays and assist with loading vehicles.
* Maintain accurate stock records and handle paperwork.
* Promote a clean and tidy warehouse, ensuring high levels of Health and Safety standards.
* Carry out stock checks and provide analysis as directed by the senior management team.
Team Support:
* Ensure warehouse operatives complete tasks efficiently and accurately, investigating issues when necessary.
* Provide leadership and motivation to the team, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Adapt to changes in workload and work schedules as required.

Essential Qualifications:
* FLT License (Essential)
* High Reach FLT License (Desirable)
